MTV Movie Awards 2011 dan Hatrik Twilight

Music Television Award ataupun MTV Awards sudah melabuhkan tirainya June 5 yang diadakan bertempat di Gibson Amphitheater, California.

Satu sejarah tercipta apabila filem cinta seram adaptasi dari novel bersiri ‘Twilight’ telah mencatat hatrik untuk Best Movie of The Year 2011. Sebelum ini Twilight dan Twilight: New Moon menggondol anugerah yang sama pada tahun 2009 dan 2010.

Ironinya, Saga Twilight: Eclipse turut dicalonkan untuk ‘Golden Raspberry Award’, satu anugerah perfileman yang mengiktiraf karya terburuk industri Hollywood. Most repetitive winner tentulah Paris Hilton, malahan pelakon Halle Berry pernah memenangi kategori Worst Actress bagi filem ‘Catwoman’. Terbaru, Nominasi Oscar Anne Hathaway bakal memegang watak Selina Kyle/Catwoman dalam filem terbaru Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.

Majlis anugerah yang dihoskan pelakon dan pelawak Jason Sudeikis ini turut menjenamakan beberapa anugerah baru seperti WTF Moment digantikan degan ‘Best Jau Dropping Moment’ semenatara Global Superstar Award direhatkan buat semenatara waktu.
